You am a fresh graduate. In total, you are all 3000 in your batch and after graduation all of you will be looking for a job. Since you belong to the information generation, you should have a positive presence online and not merely on Facebook.

Most employers nowadays will search for your credentials and will analyze your character depending on your online presence.

For example, there are 100 applicants in a certain position or job offering. Sometimes, credentials are not sufficient to show the best candidate to be employed. In today's industry, the employer will check out what you have done in your life.

So for example, you are an agriculture graduate, what will make you stand out? Sometimes, your online presence will help the employer to choose you.

So you create a simple blog and just say your thoughts about agriculture or whatever interests you that is also in line with the job you have applied for. In this case, you are applying as an Agriculturist (for example)

And so I will write something about kamote.

Kamuti to the rescue!

 In the colonial period  the Kamote was introduced to the Philippines by the Spaniards. They brought the plant from tropical America.

A Kamote plant can produce several tubers. The tubers vary in colour, size and shape. The taste is sweet. The boiled potato is often eaten with  salty fish or little shrimps.

Practically the entire plant can be used for food or feed. The leaves are often used as a salad or as addition to stewed meals with other vegetables. Fish, fresh or dried, often completes a meal with Kamote leaves.

Sweet Potato or scientific of (pomoea batatas) is also called a yam in USA but not really the true Yams. There is a confusion of this. Anyway Camote or sweet potato is propagated using the vine or stem as it is like a vines root crop. Camote grows in tropical area like Philippines, China, Africa and USA. It is used as food and vegetables. New leaves or shoot is uses as vegetable as it is green leafy vegetable and good for diet and a source of vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin B6. It is also high in fiver and has iron and calcium to name a few.
The roots is boiled, fried or baked. It is interesting to note that sweet potato is good for diabetic person. It will help maintain the sugar level in your body and will lower insulin resistance.
